2015 Brazos Bluebonnet Quilt Guild
Bi-annual Show: "Quilts Across Texas"

The 2015 show is over and it was a wonderful success!

Thanks for the memories! What a pretty show we had! The quilts on display were amazing. The hard work of the volunteers made the quilt show a fun place to be. The vendors had so much to offer! There was truly something for everyone!

Thank you to all who helped — the committee chairs, volunteers, husbands, people who bought food and everyone else who helped in any way!

This show is our primary fund raising event of the year. All money raised goes to fund college scholarships for local high school students as well as education programs for our members and the community.

The dust is settling from receipts and deposits, but a profit of over $8,000 is the expected outcome. A final tally will be shared at October’s meeting. Our “village” worked hard to make this a true success.

Preliminary numbers show nearly $4,500 in ticket sales and attendance of over 800. Basket Blitz added over $1,800 from donated basket sales, White Elephant booth added over $4,900 from donated item sales, and Bluebonnet Boutique added over $1,700 in sales!
